White Label Sourcing

White Label means you are buying goods that have been developed and created by the manufacturers, and you will sell them under your own brand name.

We can assist with sourcing white label home decor and furniture items for your brand based on a brief and moodboard provided by you.

Buying private label items is an efficient way to quickly create a collection with a lot of different items. On the other hand, the products haven’t been developed and produced exclusively for your brand, which means other brands and stores may buy and sell the same products. Please note that we offer the white label sourcing service only for furniture and home decor items, not for fashion or jewelry.
If you have a vision to create a unique collection for your brand, you could look into our custom product development and production services, or read about our in-house Bali Sewing Studio for the development of custom, textile-based products.

“How does it work, and do you have an MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity)?”, we hear you ask.

Our home accessories and furniture clients usually ship by container. Depending on the needs of the brand, we can help with sourcing and production management to fill one or multiple 20ft or 40ft containers per year. However, if you would like to start with less products that is no problem for us, we also work with start-ups that ship less than a full container for their first collection. Just keep in mind that shipment for large items such as furniture and also our sourcing fee is relatively cheaper when done per full container.

Before we begin, we will ask you to provide a moodboard (a collection of pictures) to show us the styles you are interested in. We will start the project with a meeting, during which we will discuss your vision and the product types you are interested in for your store. Based on the information from this meeting, combined with the moodboards that you will provide, we will start sourcing. After two or three weeks we will send you a first draft of the sourcing result. This is not the final result, but an opportunity for you to give feedback and let us know whether or not we are looking in the right direction and which types of products on the draft you would like to see more of. This way we will work together towards the final sourcing result. The final sourcing result will include pictures of the products, supplier contact details, pricing and MOQ details, and expected lead times.

Based on the sourcing result, we will work together to prepare the PO, and we will then assist with Production Management and Quality Control for the ordered goods. For shipment by boat we will collaborate with our Cargo Partner. We will be your contact person in Bali, and you won’t need to coordinate with all the different production and shipping companies involved in your project, because we will do that for you. We will send you updates by email at least once a week.
Having said that, if you would like to be hands-on involved in placing the orders and work and build relationships with the manufacturers directly, our Quality Control service may be a better option for your needs. You will then work with all suppliers directly, and when the products are ready our team will do the quality control before shipment.

Everyone I have dealt with so far has been very helpful and accommodating. I am based in Melbourne and have found working with an overseas company like The Bali Curator to be very easy. There has been no language barrier at all, all staff a fluent in English and are completely competent on actioning my requests and responding to all of my questions. As a full time mother, I would not have been able to get this project off the ground if it wasn't for The Bali Curator working as my agents. I can't wait to see my finished product.

The Bali Curator made my manufacturing experience in Bali a breeze. From the first step to the last, they were always keeping me in the loop and making sure I was happy with quality of my product being made.
I would highly recommend working with the Bali Curator, especially if you're unable to get to Bali yourself, as it's so valuable to have someone there who is able to keep an eye on everything for you.
